Responsible for the effectiveness of the maintenance section, by prioritising work and managing risks within laid down standards and regulations, and for the longer-term maintenance planning.

Vacancy Description

·        Plant maintenance and related production activities:

o   Planning and scheduling, (CMMS)

o   Validate work requests, determine their priority and impact on the business, do the Job Risk Assessment and create work orders,

o   Conduct inspections on critical tasks completed to ensure quality control and assurance,

o   Maintenance and shutdown planning completed timeously and communicated to all parties involved,

o   Provide technical and expert advice on general maintenance of all equipment & machines.

·        Maintenance risk managed.

·        Facilitate root cause analysis of asset-related problems and ensure corrective action is implemented.

·        Compliance with all legal, ISO and policies and procedures managed.

·        Control costs against budget (spares, contractors, overtime, etc).

·        Relevant administration and management reporting maintained.

·        Lead and manage maintenance team

·        Building and maintaining relationships with the relevant stakeholders.
